Scholarship awards will be granted to current high school seniors who will begin full time undergraduate study in the Fall 2011 semester. They are awarded for a combination of academic achievement, extracurricular activity, and community service.

Requirements:

• minimum grade point average of 85%
• of Italian descent
• Studied Italian language and culture through high school
• Resident of Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Bronxville NY or child/grandchild of an active lodge member

Additional requirement for Raffiani Family Foundation Scholarship

• Applicant must also be continuing in Italian studies in college for 4 years.

2. Reference information: Name, email address, and phone number of teachers and counsel you are requesting recommendations from. We will send them instructions for submitting their recommendations.
3. A student resume detailing education , school and community service participation/ volunteerism, applicable work experience and future career goals
4. A personal essay 350 - 750 words, tracing the students lineage back to Italy, the significance of the student's Italian heritage, and future intentions to preserve Italian culture.
5. You may come back and fill out the essay and resume later, however your application will not be complete until all four parts are received.
